On the occasion of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (Glasglow-UK, 31 October - 12 November, in partnership with Italy), the GADRRRES group has prepared a statement that highlights the severe impact of climate change on education. The statement emphasises the efforts engaged by GADRRRES to promote the Comprehensive School Safety Framework to directly work through the education sector to respond to the challenges of climate
change, and to strengthen the resilience of education systems against climate related hazards through preventative measures, adoption of strategies to promote learning continuity during periods of educational disruption, and generating transformative behaviour and actions through learning to address climate change and its impact.
