The Rector of the University of Udine, prof. Roberto Pinton, and prof. Stefano Grimaz took part at the 40th UNESCO General Conference, held in Paris at the UNESCO headquarters from 17 to 27 November. They attended the session of the General Conference dedicated to the mobility and inclusion of university students worldwide, chaired by Stefania Giannini, UNESCO Deputy Director General for Education. Then, they participated in a discussion with the UNESCO leaders of the Natural Sciences sector to discuss the synergies and developments of the activities between the UNESCO headquarters and the UNESCO Chair in Udine, analysing in particular the implementation of the VISUS methodology for the evaluation of multi-hazard safety of learning facilities.
